Pontus Proudmoore was the grandfather of Phorcys. He converted the Tirasi royal family to the worship of Mnesthes during his rule as Grand Admiral. The Daughters of Pontus use his name as a symbol against Elaine Proudmoore, his great-great-granddaughter, and her conversion to Lightism.
