Martin MacVince was a Malefactor who joined after the Battle of Boralus.
He was distantly related to the Proudmoore family through his grandfather Bolivar MacVince's daughter with his first wife, Lady Gamora Vaunt; Iole MacVince. She caught the eye of Thaumas Proudmoore and was married to him. Gamora and Bolivar's marriage was destroyed when he had an affair with a peasant girl from Yubenshire. At the suggestion of Gamora and Iole herself, MacVince was stripped of his title. Ever after, the MacVince family lived in poverty. As such, Martin grew up resenting the nobility of his country. As such, he worked with Janus DeMeza's rebellion, less because of religious affiliation and more due to his hatred of the Proudmoore family. He entered the battle in the city and experienced the Vision. Recognizing the threat of Men'heva he joined Xalmor Windrunner's cause.
