Gelanthis Sunshade was Lord of the Reliquary, a member of the Quorum and eventually a member of the new Convocation that attempted to bridge the rift between royalists and the Benefactors. He was neutral in the schism between Mathredis Firestar and Seranidan.
Kariel Winthalus tasked him with recovering elven artifacts from Quel'Thalas after the Fall.
