The task of stopping Alden was appointed to you, Duokas, and if you do not find a way, no one will.
Duokas and Daneb were two high ranking priests of the Church of the Holy Light in Stromgarde. Duokas hailed from Hesperia and had come to Stromgade on a pilgrimmage to the birthplace of human civilization. He remained in the Arathi Highlands, doing Archbishop Thomas Marden's good work. Though an opponent of paganism, he soon found himself allied with pagans against the heresy of Carolus Alden.
Eventually, the rebels attacked Stromgarde with the help of the Benefactors. Duokas personally led a warband against the cathedral of Stromgarde. He murdered Carolus Alden but was himself killed in the frenzy.
